Freedom of Speech
Amendment 1
By: Lakin Galloway
B-1

Freedom of Speech is one of the really one of the most important amendments. This right guarantees all the people to be able to speak. With this amendment you can speak freely about everything! By this right, we are able to express ourselves freely and have an open opinion. I really like to talk and I feel that it helps me be who I am. Without me freely being able to talk, then I know that I would not be who I am. This right gives me the power to speak my mind and say how I really do feel. I can tell anyone anything! For example, say that someone asked me if the shirt they tried on looked good on them. I can say yes!
Another reason is that you could say that I do not like anything at all about war, and I think that everyone just needs to take a chill pill and calm down. The world could be a peaceful nature world lacking war. (Thank you Amanda for your world! It helped me a lot!)
Also, Freedom of Speech gives personality to every person to help make them who they are. Some people like to be quiet and shy. On the other hand, some people like to be really loud and obnoxious! Now if you’re me, then you’re a little bit of both! I can be super shy. Then, I can be really loud and obnoxious, as so said my sister at least. If I do say so myself, then I would totally disagree.

Another Example to help understand this amendment would be politics. People can freely speak about how they feel, how they support, or even how they oppose. Some people like everything about politics, and then again others hate absolutely everything about them. This issue is strongly liked, and then disliked.
